Aims and Scope
Journal of Fine Arts: Performing Arts and Music is a peer-reviewed, open access, quarterly journal which publishes theoretical and empirical research on all facets of theatre, drama, cinema, radio, classical and contemporary music, traditional Persian music, performing arts, new media, aesthetics, art philosophy and pedagogy. Aimed at a diverse readership, this journal draws upon the research of leading scholars in the subjects mentioned above. Its aim for its selective publication is to encourage and promote topics that are relevant to theatre, music, cinema, radio, television, and all forms of performing arts (recorded and live). A particular perspective that is common in the selected articles is the discussion of interpretation, thus opening the discourse among scholars, researchers and artists for further studies.
